There comes a time when almost everyone will wonder whether it’s possible to really make money online. Unfortunately the majority of these people get caught up in all of the Mary Kay offers out there, decide that online earning is only a scam and go back to their cubicles. Mary Kay is Multi Level Marketing and it is set up on a recruitment style business model in which you want to hire people to work for you so that you can earn money from the work that they do. It is a faulty system at best but the advertising for it makes it look like the best thing to ever hit the web. Before you get sucked in to one of these schemes, here are some things you need to know.
One of the sillies myths that multi level marketing recruiters say is that you can do it within your spare time. If they were really telling the truth, then everyone would be making a killing in Mary Kay and not failing.
If the main foundation was not flawed, then multi level marketing might have an actual change of being successful. After all, the premise is that you have to bring on other people so that they can take on the work, while you get paid. But, the problem is that most of the time spent is hiring other people and no one is really promoting products. Also, there is no such thing as making a decent living in your spare time. Completing a job well done will take a lot of time and persistence in the long run. One of the reasons that multi level marketing is so easy to fall for is because it promises that it is easy. In fact, almost every Mary Kay program bases its entire marketing strategy on telling you about how much money you can make. However, there is just as much work involved in setting up an Mary Kay business as there is in setting up almost any other form of online business. You may even find that Mary Kay requires even more work than many other business options, simply because most people already avoid anything to do with Mary Kay business models. You’ll find it difficult to get people to join when they don’t trust the Mary Kay program you’re pushing.
You will often hear, usually from the people who are trying to recruit you, that Mary Kay is a risk-free business. This is because you will not be stuck with the product if you cannot sell it. Many times these types of programs have plenty of rules on how to do this. You do not have a lot of time to get these products returned. You usually do not get all of your money back. The Mary Kay business model has always been fraught with flaws and problems, so much so that it’s more akin to a scam. Yet, there are always a fresh stream of newbies to lure into it and so it manages to survive. Those poor people who are dragged into Mary Kay after believing the hype are the ones who lose money, lose time, lose friends and family members, and then lose hope that it’s possible to ever make any real money online. Don’t become one of these people!
